Eggman don't use their mechs while inside Chao World. SA2s port is much better (it runs at 16:9, but some cutscenes are still in 4:3 and audio balancing is screwy), but like SA1. But in the other versions of Battle and in the Dreamcast version it is there. Unless you want more content, skip the DX upgrade DLC, though, since all it adds is Mission Mode (which is fairly lackluster) and Metal Sonic as a playable character (read: a skin for Sonic) for getting all 130 emblems. In the GameCube version of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Big's cameos were removed.In the Battle version some effects were changed/added.In the Battle version in the level Crazy Gadget there are Red X's, but in the Dreamcast verion the X's are green.

In the Battle version there are some new features. In the Battle version you have all of the characters without having to get all the emblems. The gameplay focuses on three modes with both Team Hero and Team Dark following these modes.
